In 2007 in an effort to boost visibility and to ease the display of the bears for retailers, a selection of the more popular bears still in circulation were re-issued in clear acetate display boxes rather than in their oginial brown boxes. Many of these bears have minor variations in the colours used on their paint jobs, their accessories, or in a couple of cases minor changes to the bears themselves when compared to the original release.
